Dedicated Mental Health Support for First Responders, Military, and Public Safety Professionals
I understand the unique challenges that come with serving in high-stress, high-risk professions—because it’s personal to me. Coming from a family of law enforcement officers, military personnel, nurses, and correctional officers, I have seen firsthand the mental and emotional toll these careers can take.
Beyond my personal connection, my professional background includes extensive experience working within correctional facilities, county jails, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and forensic mental health units. I have worked directly with inmates found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) or deemed Incompetent to Proceed, giving me deep insight into the complexities of trauma, high-risk environments, and mental health within the criminal justice and public safety systems.
Firsthand Experience, Real-World Understanding
To provide the most effective, culturally competent care, I have completed numerous station visits and ride-alongs with law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, and other first responder agencies across the region. These experiences allow me to truly understand your world—the stress, the exposure to trauma, and the unspoken pressures of the job—so I can provide therapy that is not just clinically effective but practical and relevant to your experiences.
Committed to First Responder & Military Mental Wellness
In addition to my private practice, I am actively involved with the 2nd Alarm Project, a mental health initiative focused on breaking the stigma, increasing mental health awareness, and improving access to care for first responders and their families.

Through this work, I have:
✔ Collaborated with first responder agencies to strengthen mental health resources
✔ Provided clinical supervision and training to peer support teams
✔ Deployed for critical incidents, offering crisis intervention and trauma support
✔ Helped bridge the gap between first responders and essential mental health services
Whether you're active-duty, a veteran, law enforcement officer, firefighter, paramedic, dispatcher, correctional officer, or a family member of a first responder, I know that seeking help can feel difficult—but you don’t have to carry the weight alone. My goal is to provide confidential, effective, and culturally competent therapy designed specifically for those in high-stress, service-oriented careers.
